Throughout his extensive 4-decade long career, Jeff has held various leadership roles showcasing his expertise in diverse areas.
Jeff contributed to U.S. Presidential work groups dedicated to digital transformation and cybersecurity.
While serving as the Chief Technology Officer for the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, Jeff collaborated with the US Joint Chiefs of Staff to modernize Military and Veteran Health Care.
As the Chief Information Officer at the US Air Force Air University jeff lead the modernization and consolidation of 13 autonomous information systems some dating back with data from the 1940s, resulting in over 20 million in cost avoidance within two years.
Jeff played pivotal roles in some of the world’s largest digital transformations to include projects like the VA remote management (40 million) and NMCI (7 billion).
Currently Jeff holds the position of Chief Data Officer for the US Air Force Europe and Africa focusing on transforming data to empowering the command in making data-driven decisions for both operational and tactical endeavors.
Jeff an enthusiastic technologist and truly loves his work. His expertise lies in simplifying complexity evident through his YouTube channel boasting over 800 videos and nearly 5,000 subscribers and over 2 million views along with the publication of four books.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Jeff is a devoted husband of over 34 years and a proud father of six sons and grandfather to four grandchildren. Jeff regards his family as his most treasured accomplishment.
